Objectives

  • 1. Find terms of sequences.
  • 2. Find formulas for the nth term of sequences.
  • 3. Determine whether a sequence converges or diverges, and find the limit if it exists.
  • 4. Find limits of recursively defined sequences.
  • 5. Analyse and verify sequence formulas and limits.
  • 6. Prove assertions and theorems related to sequences, their limits, and the definition of convergence.
  • 7. Determine if sequences are monotonic and bounded.
  • 8. Approximate a number using a recursion formula for the sequence.
