Research is a key component of many courses at UTPB. The J. Conrad Dunagan Library is available anywhere you have access to the Internet. You can access the library direct from inside of Canvas since you are an enrolled student.

Using EBSCO Ebooks

Step 1. Get Software - To Download and view an EBSCO Ebook – the software application Adobe Digital Editions is required. It is available on desktop computers (Windows, Macintosh) and mobile devices via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. This is the link to the software application’s download page - http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html

Step 2. Find ebook - Next is search for the ebook you want and click on the title to arrive at this page.
Step 3. Download book - Click “Download the eBook (offline)

Step 4. Sign In - If you have a MyEBSCOhost account, select "Sign in to My EBSCOhost" and sign in. If not select "Create an Account."

Step 5. Checkout & Download - After either signing in or creating your account and signing in, click “Checkout & Download”. Please note that most ebooks have a 2 week (14 day) checkout period. After that time, you will need to access the ebook again through the database to view it again. Make sure you have Adobe Digital Editions installed on your computer or mobile device before downloading the ebook. (See Step 1.)

Step 6. Download & Open - Select "OK" to open the ebook file.

With Adobe Digital Editions open, it will look like the image below on the desktop version once the ebook is downloaded into the software application and ready for viewing. Select the cover image to open the ebook into a full window.

Films on Demand is a web-based digital video delivery platform that allows you to easily view videos anytime, anywhere 24/7. Many subject areas are covered. Cite it as a source for your next paper. All in high definition, all ADA compliant. Canvas can link direct to Films On Demand if the instructor activates the link. Look on the side menu for the link in this orientation.
