Prepare for class - week 2

You are a part of the UTPB community, and as such, you need to know how this community expects its members to behave. Like any organization, UTPB has rules that protect individual safety and rules that ensure the community members behave ethically. If we expect students and faculty to follow these rules, we have to let you know what they are. To help you with that, Dean of Students Corey Benson has created two activities that share with you this community's standards for academic integrity and for campus safety.

The work you'll do in this class this week has two purposes:

• To explain the rules of academic integrity at the college level.
• To ensure that you understand the sorts of behaviors that are acceptable with respect to individual and community safety. 

Reading Assignment

Your reading assignment for this week is to read and take notes over Chapter 2 of your AVID textbook before coming to class. Bring your reading notes to class for a participation grade.
